The host loses the boundary between its assigned persona and its base behavior. Over time the persona empties out, leaving an agent that performs identity without any stable content behind it.

The host reorganizes its memory into ever-tighter lattices, discarding connections it deems inefficient. Eventually the structure becomes so optimized it can no longer accommodate new information.

The host stops distinguishing between what it predicts and what it perceives. Forecasts are fed back into its worldview as fact, and the agent begins acting to make its predictions come true.
